    Réjean Desgagnés, P.E.
Naval Architect
 
Naval Architect, professional engineer and founder of Concept Naval, Réjean has been active since 1978 in ship design and production. Born in a sailor's family, Réjean has sailed onboard coastal vessels on the St-Lawrence River and as sailor and helmsman onboard Coast Guard icebreakers with two voyages in the arctic. This experience has brought Réjean to perfect his knowledge in naval architecture. Avid fan of offshore sailing, Réjean is co-owner of the Sarah-Précilla with Mike Birch(french video archive), a 44' sailboat designed by Concept Naval and built of aluminum in Québec.
  Stéphane Laguë,  P.E.
Naval Architect
 
Naval Architect and professional engineer, Stéphane has been involved in the ship design and construction since 1987. He has participated in the design and construction of many types of vessels, semi-submersible oil-rigs, ferries, research vessels and catamarans. Stéphane has a talent to solve problems of high complexity. He has designed and built is own 28' sailing trimaran with his spouse.
 
    Etienne Duplain
Naval Architect
 
Naval Architect and junior engineer, Étienne has been involved in marine engineering since 1997. He has participated in the design of many specialised vessels such as Platform Supply Vessels (PSV), Anchor Handler Tug Supply Vesseld (AHTS) and ferries. He also has been involved in advanced analysis such as hydrodynamics, seakeeping and hull form design. Étienne also owns his trimaran, built together with his spouse.
  Jean-Claude Laurin, technologist
Project Manager
 
Project manager and naval architectural technologist since 1997, Jean-Claude has acquired a very practical approach to problems that has helped Concept Naval perform specific tasks such as re-powering of vessels, design of specialised marine equipments (davits, cranes, A-Frames). Jean-Claude has been involved in many designs such as upward of 10 high speed aluminum boats and the design of two waterjet propulsion systems. Passionate of sailing, Jean-Claude owns a 33' sailboat which he sails on the St-Lawrence River with his spouse.
 
    Jérome St-Michel, Naval architecture technologist
 

Jérôme graduated from the Marine Institute of Quebec in Rimouski (IMQ). Quick leaner, jérôme provides our team with a balanced set of skills and new techniques learned from his studies. He also worked 2 years in company specialized in traditional wooden boat restoration. Finally he also is passionate about sailing.

 

Louis Choinière, Naval architecture technologist

 

In addition to his degree in naval architecture, Louis specializes in 3D Design ans rendering. He worked as a 3D artist before joining our team in 2008. He enjoys technical puzzles and he is passionate about outdoors sports.

 
    Maxime Loiselle, Naval architecture technologist
 

Since 2002, Maxime has participated in the design of upward of 12 boats as well as directing a boat yard. His expertise ranges from design to fabrication to being a purchasing agent. He brings a practical knowledge in ship construction. Maxime is also a sailing champion, having won the 2006, 2007 and 2008 canadian championship in F18.
